The 6" Truss Spacer is a welded aluminum block that inserts into a 12-inch box truss run to add six inches of length. It is a small part that solves a specific and very common problem: standard truss comes in whole-foot lengths, and a span rarely needs a whole number of feet.
Anyone who has built a goalpost over a stage or a header across a booth entrance knows the situation. The opening measures 21 feet 6 inches, the truss inventory runs in 2, 3, 5, 6, 8 and 10 foot sections, and something has to give. The spacer is what closes that gap without forcing you to redesign the build or leave the span visibly off-center.
It uses the same four-tube connection as the rest of the box bolt system, so it drops into a run without special hardware or a different bolt pattern.
